Description

During the past 8 years the decline in new HIV infections has stalled. The Business Coalition Against HIV & AIDS (BAHA) has closed, and Businesses for Health: TB & HIV is calling BAHA’s former HIV workplace policy holders, Champions, workplace TB wardens, HR or Safety managers to join Businesses for Health in updating their HIV knowledge and skills. Much has changed in the world of HIV & AIDS since BAHA created the first workplace HIV policy in 2007. In 2019, B4H is updating the work of BAHA. B4H’s one-day workshop will refresh knowledge and skills related to HIV prevention and management, and help employers to develop up to date HIV policies that acknowledge the on-going seriousness of the current growing HIV epidemic in PNG. Topics include employee rights, strategies for addressing HIV-based stigma and promote access to free HIV prevention, testing and treatment services. Businesses for Health Papua New Guinea Inc. is a registered not-for-profit association designed to update the work of the BAHA in the light of the current TB crisis, on-going HIV epidemic and emerging health issues. In 2019 B4H is sponsored by private sector businesses and the Australian Government. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL FREE to Businesses for Health subscribers and sponsors K500 all others
